Cafe Chef

Want a change? A new job with early finishes? We have a FULL TIME CAFÉ CHEF position available here at Brompton Food Market with DAYTIME hours. We're looking for a talented, easy going chef to work within our small, friendly kitchen team.

The right person will have some experience already and are looking for a more involved chef role with more responsibility.  Or you may have a wealth of experience but looking for a position with less stress and no late hours whilst still getting good pay.

Brompton Food Market is an independent café/deli in South Kensington. Our menu changes seasonally and includes the best brunch in South Kensington, regular seasonal specials and a freshly made salad bar which sells out every day of the week. 

Ideally you will have...
•    Excellent communication and people skills
•    An interest in designing new dishes
•    A calm demeanour during an intense, busy service
•    High standards of food taste and presentation
•    Enthusiasm, keenness and self-motivation
 

We can give you...
•    Daytime working hours (shifts usually end by 5pm)
•    A competitive wage up to £30k (including TRONC) depending on experience
•    A great working environment with friendly people based in South Kensington
•    At least 40 hours per week (including weekends)
•    Extensive training if required
